When the camera is on your head or chest or bike handle facing forward, it is not always easy to see the controls. Attach the remote to your wrist and control the GoPro with it.
The remote control replaces the basic controls that are on the camera. You can change the mode from video to photo etc you can change the basic settings and you can launch the camera remotely.
You can control many cameras with this control but they will all respond as if they were only one camera. For example, they would all be in video mode and all start and stop at the same time.
When you use this remote control, the wifi settings on the camera must be changed. This means that if you use this remote, you can not use the GoPro app which requires different settings.
You cannot use this control in water.
